teachers day celebration was.... okay.
some parts were funny and cool but some parts were not.
can't believe we had some weird socratic seminar philo thingy before that. -.-
and i hit my head against the computer table there at the library :(

had a hard time finding all the teachers to give my muffins to. didn't manage to give to laoshi & mr.soo cos laoshi didn't come. -.- mr.soo's outfit was... .... blinding. it was like a light green neon shirt and he was wearing sunglasses. owww my eyes...

haha gave sherri 3 muffins. you're so cute, sherri. glad you liked them!
the "academy awards" theme for teachers' day was quite cute. the trophies were nice. both mrs chow and ms ho got down-to-earth. haha. funny. Mrs Ng got best-dressed! hahaha.
i think it was so cool that we sent sherri up onto the stage in her school uniform! hahahahahah!!!!
and she was like blowing kisses at everyone.. HAHA.
generally, the celebration was quite fun

haha. went back to primary school and saw so many old friends. it's so cool to see them all again after so long... sigh. besides the looks, i relise we're all still kinda the same... haha. there was: suikee, valerie, mabel, abigail, jedidah, isabel, amanda, jinghurng, mark, natheneil, chris, adriel, wanxin, etc. so many... love you guys!

sigh... suikee and i were like exploring the school... which was... interesting. the whole place was so ... bright. haha. mr tong really went to dig up all the funds and spend it all. so many new stuff... so many new teachers. and a new securtiy guard too!!! last time, our security guard was super nice, he was not only security guard, he was also a garderner and like a cleaner or something. hahaha! now they replace him with this old BALD guy who refused to let us in from the gate. -.-
then he gave up and let us all in, but refused to let us cross the big assembly area or go pass the office! haha! funny. and the outfit looks like the fairfield uniform for guys, haha!
we saw qui lao shi!!! miss her so much. the last time we came, she was retired. and she came back today!!! just in time to see us all!!!! she looked... ... the same. haha.
at first suik and i thought she was like this super old-looking person but then we realise that it wasn't her. HAHA!
mr. chua was on mc. -.-
on the times when i didn't come, he's in sch, but when i come, he's not. sigh. so anyway i just left him a muffin on his desk. HAHA. i think it'll like rot when he comes on monday, and he might not even come. but whatever... it's the thought that counts. haha.

teacher's day celebration tmr..
we were like deciding on what to wear as a class for the 'be yourself day' thingy but we all decided that since there's no competition, there's no point paying anyway. so i think most of us are gonna wear school uniform. haha

baked super a lot of muffins yesterday for teachers. but i have extra so i can give them to friends! :)
made a lot of chocolate-corn flake crisps thingy. don't know what to call it. hope they don't melt when i bring them to school!

got my commendation award today. my stupid eye kept swelling up and it was so itchy the whole day. :( anyway, thanks violette for being so patient and coming with me to wash my eye for like a million times. haha.

can't wait to see all my old friends again from primary school. wonder how everyone looks like now...

i mean term 3 has been cramped up with so many events (just too many to count) that now not having any event seems.. funny. haha i guess its good to have a break..

OLYMPICS is over... so sad. gone are the days where i can sit on the sofa and watch tv non-stop with no one asking me to stop. hha. am looking forward to the london olympics. not sure how it's going to be like. but their advertising is quite cool.

had my vocal pre-exam today...
it was quite okay.. at first vi and i were like looking for a room to practice. and we couldn't find any rooms so we just went into this random room where theres no one inside. and we couldn't get the dumb electric piano thingy to start so we used the ORGAN
hahahaa!!!!
it was so funny... cos we were like pressing random buttons everywhere. HAHA.
but it was still very cool

and then when it was time for my exam, all the rooms were used, so we had to go down to the basement. which smelled like some rotten beast. haha. it was so gross.
yay.. just glad it went quite well...

THEN when we came down to the road for vi to get a cab, i saw this LITTLE girl in this HUGE car who started waving madly at us.
and i'm like thinking: who's that child?
and then i realise that it was lizzy!!!!! HAHAHAHAAH
so i started waving back, and whacking vi. i was like "Ay! Lizzy!"
HAHAHA

mg choir concert was a blast.

i think the choir really just... went on to stage and just... enjoyed what they were singing
although most songs were rushed or out of tune, i think we really put in everything that we have learnt from all the past practices and rehearsals.
abba was fabulous. we really just enjoyed it and sang out. the audience was wonderful.
and to see all our old friends again was amazing. grace, feli, qing, enqi, rachel, patty, nicole, etc seeing all of them again was just... so awesome. and anna, jan, michelle chan, abi, roxanne, suat, all those from 3t and 3g. you guys were such an awesome audience and such good friends. i will never forget you guys for coming to support us. you guys are just great.
tjc was great too. i loved their dance moves. they did it with so much energy. i wish i could dance as well as them. HAHA.

we couldn't start dancing queen properly!!! HAHAHAHAHA and the encore was worse. HAHAHAA. but it was fun, cos we just sang and didn't care. HAHAHA.

after that when we went backstage, my ears were practically bleeding from all the screaming. it was like

and all our old friends came back to give us flowers. it was so sweet. i can never thank them enough. my gratitude towards them can't be put in words.

i can't believe this is my last day as an sl.
i love you guys sop ones. you guys are a great bunch and are lovely people to be with. and you ALL have amazing voices, unique voices. and it's really an honor be your leader. i know you guys have always been putting in your all and i thank you guys for that. i will never forget this experience of being an sl of you guys. i hope you guys continue to grow to be better singers and better performers. i will always be supporting all of you. and i'll be there if you need me.

i really can't believe it's my last day as an sl.
i hope i did well. i hope you guys continue to grow and love not only the choir, but music more each day. you guys have such great voices and it's been an honor.

choir announcements again! the announcement itself was okayyeee i guess, at least i didn't say anything stupid like coming to have a great ball. dancing and singing were fine, just longer than usual... and energy-less. haha. but it was still a good effort. :)
choir today was fun... but i realised that my pants was overly-baggy and super loose. haha.

i'm don't know what to feel actually... confident? scared? i don't know. all i know now is that i've got all that butterflies in my stomach thingy and all that crap. ><
can't believe it's so soon....

e-learning tomorrow. -.- and i have to go back to school haha for lit elect. AND i have tuition in the morning. AND piano lesson after that. sigh... not forgetting TONS of e-learning hw. :(
feel like i'm about to diieeee. or i'm dead. haha.

i totally messed up choir announcements today! HAHAHAAH. although it was super fun. to mess it up. haha. i was like "what are we for?" when it's supposed to be what are we in for. HAHA
and i was also like "You can come and have a great.... .... ball."
HAHA
& everyone laughed hahahaha! it's supposed to be a great ball of a time. but like whatever, hahaha!! it's quite fun to mess up announcements!
bio test tomorrow!! and i'm still here. haha.
i can't believe it. it's already my bday. i made a note to myself last year saying something like after this day, the rest of the year it's just gonna pass REALLY fast... not that it hasn't. it's just gonna be 2009 real soon. after all the eoys and all that.
ahhhhhh.... 2 more days to choir concert!!!!! exciting! hahaa.
was watching olympics swimming thingy just now. and the commentator was introducing s'pore and he was like.. "Tao Li, representing Singapore...... born in China."
and i was like... "he just HAD to say that.."
recess was fun today cos we were all laughing about how tiff went to ask for a bottle of tamtams from the drink store. yea the short blue one with a crab on it.

ahhhhhhhhh!!!!
choir concert is in 5 days... not including concert day..
ahhhhhhhh!!!
they gave us shirts yesterday for abba which were... interesting. haha. nicole's had giraffes on them! hahaha and that was one of the better ones. haaha. mine was okayyee, not that bad.. same as rachel's and rachael's. haha.

yesterday's ndc was sleep-inducing except for the last 20 min where we sang all the national day songs. haha. am still quite pissed that the stupid ____ didn't told us our skit didn't have any relevance when they said it was 'ok' last week. & everyone was rushing like crazy on thursday cos we had to do our SS sbq thingy, some had full humans and mep thingy. so only like 10 ppl turned up. then they said they're only picking 6 classes to present and ours wasn't chosen.. WASTE OUR TIME!!!

spent last night watching the olympics thingy. i only started watching at abt 10+ at night so all the athletes were being introduced and it took super long for s'pore's team to appear.. then i fell asleep.... then i woke up again at 1+ and the olympics thing was still on. they were doing some taiji thing. and i was like... "when's it going to endd" and my dad who was sitting at the edge of the bed since like 11 was like "no, this is a repeat." and so i watched the whole thing until all the athletes started coming out again and went to sleep. haha.

yay am so glad i dropped out of the asean summit thing so i have the 11th freeeee... yay. shall bake a cake for myself :)

yesterday was funn.... had choir all the way from 8-12 and all we did was choreo, which went quite smoothly. can't believe we're having our full dress next wed... and the concert is next next friday!!!
voice training was quite good too. kudos to violette for being such a great accompanist! you're a really good pianist.
acs wind ensemble concert was amazing (despite having so many mistakes). so fun to go with tiff and cherry. haha. this might be 6th and final one i'll ever attend. ever since i was p4 and my brother was sec1. haha now i'm sec3. can't believe it. saw ellisa and her family there!!
i think if i don't go to band concerts anymore, i will really miss it. they're always so fun. and they get the lamest and yet the funniest MCs. haha.

had the first service in woodlands today. the building is HUGE. there were so many people.
i think God really is doing something here. it's hard to believe tht we've completed this building thingy which started like ages ago... passed the last blue offering bag today...
the journey there was.. interesting. cos first we got lost finding our way to woodlands, then we got lost in the HDB estate where my mum and i parked the car. haha. and we had to sit in the gallery cos the 2nd level was full and the 2nd level was HUGE. it was amazing..
i think God really guided our church through this whole journey. none of this would have been possible if it weren't for him. :)

today was so funn!!! but really busy cos we had soooo many things...
1. bio heart practical
2. ROCs meeting
3. N.E. skit thing
4. Prefect's Installation rehearsal
5. Choir

bio was so fun today even though the whole lab stank of blood and rubber gloves. it was so fun to stick in all the straws and cut it up. hahaha. some people's hearts were frozen solid! and i cut mine into 3 seperate parts, when it's supposed to be intact. HAHA
anyway, the most icky part was the clumps of fat at the top. the fats are like HARD. eurgh...

ROCs meeting, YAYYYYYYEEEE!!! grace, bea, abby, anna and i manged to get "disney world of physics" project. so funn! we're gonna do something abt roller coasters. how exciting!

N.E. skit thing.... only like 6-7 ppl turned up when it's supposed to be the whole class. HAHA. we improvised like crazy on the spot. haha.

i missed most of the prefect's installation rehearsal cos ms tham came and i didn't want to miss anymore sessions when the concert is 2 weeks away!!! 15th August, Friday, 8pm, Victoria Concert Hall (if you're interested!) and i forgot to wear my tie when i went there. ><
btw, the choir doesn't even know that they're performing until today. and the installations next monday. haha. nvm, at least the song we're singing is something we already know.
but i realise the choir's been really busy over these few days.. founders day, chinese chapel, prefects installation and our concert is coming up!! haha.
it's quite exciting but also really tiring sometimes. can't seem to memorise my scores properly. :(
i realise i keep forgetting to do stuff. like i was supposed to bring chocolates to school today for ___, but then i forgot, and i didn't want to turn back, so we (my mum and i) stopped by 7-11 to buy a giant box of ferrero roche... and ___ thought they were poisoned. -.-

i am so looking forward to tomorrow! cos there's choir and we'll be doing choreography. then voice training, then the acs(i) band concert. it's gonna be my brother's last band performance...
can't believe it... i realise i've been there ever since the first one when he was sec 1 and i was.. ... p4... haha.

why do you keep sucking up to her??? can't you just relax?
